Jim Corbett National Park is one of the prestigious National Park of India which was established in year 1936. It lies in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand which is well known for tiger reserves. It spans over 520 square kilometres and whole area is filled with beautiful hills, grasslands, large lakes, riverine belts etc. This park has plenty of flora and fauna which is the reason for its perfection in safaris. In this park, you will find Royal Bengal Tigers, India Hog Deer, Otter, Asiatic Black Bear, Samber Deer and many more. In fact, it has various species of birds and almost 600 species of distinct plants. This part has been covered by Sal trees and Ramganga river flows inside the park, Additionally, it is a perfect destination for adventurous activities like river rafting, rock climbing, fishing, angling, rappelling etc. To promote tourism, Jim Corbett National park has been divided in five zones where visitors can enjoy with wildlife safari safely. In fact, this park allows overnight stay and wildlife viewing can be done in open four wheeler, Jeep and on elephant back.
